Election 2011

It's that time again, and I'm planning on running for reelection in Ward 3. I already got out and spoke with a lot of you while I was getting my petition signed. I heard concerns about the school district, but I was encouraged that most of the folks I spoke with seem satisfied with city services and the direction we are going. I hope you will let me know of any questions or concerns you have by email or phone.

Exciting changes to Sheridan Celebrates!

Sheridan Celebrates, Saturday, September 24th, is going to have a new parade route, new location, and exciting new features!

The parade will begin at Red and Jerry's, progress along Oxford, and end at the high school. This route is slightly shorter than in previous years and allows us to showcase the RiverPoint shopping area as well as end at our civic center.

The fair will take place on the City Hall and middle school grounds on the southwest corner of Oxford and Federal. This is a highly visible, easy-to-find location with a good amount of parking.

We have great new vendors coming, including more food choices, plus new features like kiddie games, a beer tent, and local band Ricky and the Radios.

The parade is free to enter, and booths are only $35! There is still time if you want to get involved. The Sheridan Celebrates hotline is 303-438-3321, or I'd be glad to talk or email with you about the events.
